Aaron Asteria – No Time for Heroes

New album available on all DSPs

Debut Album “No Time for Heroes”!

With his debut album No Time for Heroes, Swiss singer-songwriter Aaron Asteria delivers an uncompromising statement on self-determination, vulnerability, and the end of exaggerated hero worship. He reveals himself to be more multifaceted than ever, moving effortlessly between dark soul power, turbulent guitar pop, and delicate introspection.

The opening track Don’t Worship Me sets the tone: don’t have heroes – be one! This charged anthem introduces the album’s leitmotif with epic force. From there, the album journeys through existential questions and emotional extremes – from the dizzying intensity of Insane Together to the tender honesty of Love Hard. Aaron demonstrates his ability to bridge these extremes directly in Teenage Ghost. Here, he confronts the heaviest topics and transforms them into a self-determined track with a fearless punk attitude.

No Time for Heroes is not a conventional pop album, but a layered exploration of the fractures, passions, and longings of a generation that no longer requires perfect idols. Aaron blends poetic depth with a voice that shifts seamlessly between soulful cries and intimate reflection. The album’s title derives from the Woodstock-inspired protest anthem Ages of Peace, a song that captures the anguish of standing up for change in today’s world.

It’s songs like these that demonstrate how Aaron’s music reaches far beyond personal narratives: they are anthems of responsibility, freedom, and the courage to stand out. Even a playful track like Space Beach carries a message of self-empowerment within its rolling, ocean-wave groove: “If you’re unhappy with your horoscope, sail your boat to the next galaxy. The stars are different there.”

Aaron concludes the album with a surprise: Es Läbe mit Dir (Live Session), his first song in Swiss German. Already a cult favorite at his concerts, it creates an emotional bridge between the stage and the audience.
