Seine neue Single ist eine Hommage an seine Frau, mit der er seit über 20 Jahren zusammen ist. Manche mögen sich an ‘Severina’ erinnern – ‘Best’ ist quasi die Fortsetzung, oder die erneute Bestätigung davon. Wie romantisch!

Emotional, ergreifend und zugleich einladend. ‘Best’ erinnert uns daran, dankbar für unsere Liebsten zu sein und ihnen das immer wieder mitzuteilen. Als Nachfolger von ‘Why’ ist dieser Song der zweite Vorgeschmack von Marc Sway’s kommenden Albums (Herbst 2024).
Anfangs März beginnt die neue Staffel “Sing meinen Song”, wo Marc Sway mit dabei sein wird. Er eröffnet die Sendung in der ersten Staffel und eins darf schon verraten werden: ‘Best” wird dabei auch eine Rolle spielen!
Als Überraschung hat Sway seine Frau Severina zum Essen eingeladen und sie mit dem Song überrascht – was als spontane Restaurant-Jamsession anfing, entpuppte sich am Schluss als geplante Aufführung des Songs. Die rührende Reaktion der Restaurantgäste und von Severina wurden heimlich gefilmt. Das Resultat ist das offizielle Musikvideo.

Marc’s new single is a tribute to his wife, with whom he has been together for over 20 years. Some may remember ‘Severina’ – ‘Best’ is the sequel, so to speak, or the reaffirmation of it. How romantic!
Feel-good vibes supported by gospel vocals and a catchy melody. Emotional, poignant and inviting at the same time. ‘Best’ reminds us to be grateful for our loved ones. As the follow-up to ‘Why’, this song is the second foretaste of Marc Sway’s upcoming album (autumn 2024).
The new season of “Sing meinen Song” starts at the beginning of March and Marc Sway will be part of it. He will open the programme in the first season and one thing can already be revealed: ‘Best’ will also play a role!
As a surprise, Sway invited his wife Severina to dinner and surprised her with the song – what started out as a spontaneous restaurant jam session turned out to be a planned performance of the song in the end. The touching reactions of the restaurant guests and Severina were secretly filmed. The result is the official music video.
